Apple Targeting the Enterprise?

Apple has struck a deal with Unisys to help market its products to business and government customers, according to a report from Bloomberg.

When Apple snags an enterprise customer, Unisys will handle maintenance and other services, Gene Zapfel, a managing partner at Unisys, told Bloomberg. He said Unisys inked a contract with Apple this month, but could not discuss the terms.

Interesting and pretty bold, considering Apple's history.

This one flew under the radar.

BBC News - Italian seaside town planning miniskirt ban

There will also be a ban on sunbathing, playing football in public places, and blasphemy, if the proposals are approved at a council meeting on Monday.

...

In other places they have banned sandcastles, kissing in cars, feeding stray cats, wooden clogs and the use of lawn mowers at weekends.

In Somalia or Saudi Arabia, this wouldn't surprise me, but Italy?

Just what constitutes as blasphemy anyway? Would I be a blasphemer if I suggested the Pope has no authority over me?

Meet Me At ArtBerkeley's Exhibit At the Dunn Building

Logo-w-bg
This Saturday, from 1-4 I'll be joining other local artists at the Dunn Building (count offices) for the opening reception for the Dunn Building Exhibit and hosted by ArtBerkeley.  This is the first time I've had any of my artwork on public display and I feel privileged to be a part of this.  During the hanging of the artwork on Monday night, I got to meet some fine folks and see some pretty amazing works of art.

If you can't make it, you can see my submissions, which I pulled from my Black & White set that can be found on flickr & SmugMug.
